If the NA price is supposed to be $350, why on earth would anybody buy it? One could buy the Zelda or NSMBU bundle for $300 and buy Mario Kart separately for $50 or $60.

Hopefully, the $350 bundle is a "premium" SKU and includes all of this stuff...

... and there will be a regular bundle with just the game for $299.  Otherwise, Nintendo is in serious trouble in more ways than one.

That would actually be a really good deal.

I agree.  A Wii Remote Plus alone is around $35, so anyone who wants one and the extra stuff is making out fine at $349.

But Nintendo needs to offer a plain MK8 bundle at $299 for new consumers who just want the game.  Otherwise, just like with Tropical Freeze, people will be forced to spend $300 + $50/$60 just to be able to play the new release that they're excited for, and Ninty desperately needs that $299 price to be the total cost of admission for people that just want to play some Kart.
