It proves to sony that games will sell better, and more important, it proves to the 3rd party the same thing.

So you see buying a PS4 as a Kickstarter pledge of sorts? You're buying the hardware in order to fund the games?

 

 

Yes, it works like that. If there is not enough early buyers , you're in a Wii U situation where no 3rd party wants to support it
