Not being a movie player makes no different for WiiU.
No-one is buying ps4/xbo because they can also play movies. bluray players are cheap now.
A digital only console is just not a good idea yet. That is why XBO lost a lot of buzz a big reason its failing as people heard its online only requirement and didn't realize its not quite the same anymore.
We're simply not at that stage yet.
