I don't really consider that ahead of its time considering that the "religion is EBOL!1" and variations of that plotline were even cliché and stereotypical in JRPGs by the time BoF2 did it.
But personally I'd want to see a BoF6, I almost don't care what console it goes to. Just to know that this franchise is still alive beyond ports. I don't really know why people are harping on Soriku for wanting this, a new BoF game isn't a crime. People need to take their meds and realize that not everything has to be about sales and "tier" rankings of RPG franchise.
