Thing with WiiU is they voted with their wallets and said we don't want third party games :C. I mean look at the sales you have AC4 and such doing like 100k and then like 1-2mill on the xbox/ps.

But do they give us a reason to buy AC4 (or games like it, speaking in general here). Late DLC/No DLC, missing features, poorly optimized for the hardware. There have been few (any?) cases where the Wii U version was the version to own.

Maybe its poorly optimized because Nintendo developed the console for themselves rather than making it easily accessible to Ubisoft. There is no reason to risk giving the Wii U the definitive version of a game, when its userbase is so small. Its a self perpetuating problem, and the only way to address it is to provide incentives for development on the Wii U. Nintendo has placed themselves in the position where, it would be best for them to moneyhatt multiplats.

But then you see Nintendo's side of the problem: why pay for what others are getting for free? Nintendo would have to put money down to make it appear and go further to make the version on Wii U worth the moneyhat in the first place (even though it likely won't be).
