FFXIV has an active userbase of more than 2 million..not sure if that is what you refer as an dependable profitable userbase..

I should have said consistently dependable Western userbase. I know there are a bunch of mmos that have success in Asian countries. I doubt the majority of the FFXIV userbase are located in the west, but I could be wrong and if I am wrong then I apologize for the omission.
