The reason why the behind the back section looked so bad was because they were in a game that was built from the ground up to look good at only one angle. I hated those sections too, because they looked retarded, in the same way that I would hate Dragon Quest 8 if it was overhead. It would look retarded. What I'm saying is that the whole game should have been built to look like DQ8, in that the towns look like towns instead of lego cities, and the people look like people instead of chibi characters. Power isn't the issue because DQ8 is on the PS2, and the 3DS is as powerful as that. That's why I used DQ8 as my example instead of something like Xenoblade, which is on more powerful hardware.

Seeing the world overhead makes it easier to see in tall grass. See where the grass start and end. It's part of the game style established many years ago. If it ain't broken don't fix it. I could understand how ppl would like it to change for many reasons but it's not worth a complaint and put down the overall critic score of a game since it's not a broken system that has always been like that

Well I do. I hate having to dress identical to every other guy playing XY because the clothing selection is so bad. I'm not being too harsh. If they aren't going to put the effort into an adequet customization tool, then don't add customization. Games have been doing character customization for years. If they aren't going to take it seriously, then they deserve every bit of criticism they get for it.

The only thing I can say refers to the underlined part. You barely see other players. The only time you see them is when you battle them and you see them for a second before they throw their first pokéball so it's not a big deal how others look like. What should matter is whether or not your character looks good TO YOU. But you are totally right in a sense that it's hard to make your character look the way you want with so many option. You are right in many regards and I'll be standing with you side by side throwing rocks at gamefreaks  if they don't upgrade this in the next game.

Again, I do. When XY came out. So many of my complaints would be more easily forgiven if we had more Pokemon. A lot of people aren't true Pokemon fans. The entire spirit of Pokemon comes from the discovery of loads of new Pokemon with every new generation. The even gens usually have less than the odd gens, but this is unacceptable. My only saving grace for this is that XY is hinting that there may be another region this generation, and if that's true, it may have the "rest" of the new pokemon. I'd be fine with that. The new type excuse is stupid. It's just a type change.

As for the legendary Pokemon thing, I like a lot of legendaries. To me, it's up to the player to make legendary Pokemon special by using what the games give you. I equate legendary Pokemon to mythological creatures and deities. I like legendary Pokemon for their mythos and what they add to the lore of the region. Oh, and there are 6 legendaries, not 3. And Zygarde is cool.

The way I look at it, no matter how many pokémon they add, their is only a handpick that are worth using. Currently out of 80 new pokémon I only use Talonflame and Greninja. That does'nt mean that they are the only new pokémon worth playing but so many like Froufrou will stay in my box for ever and ever. I'd much rather live in a world where gamefreaks add less new pokémon but with much bigger % of these pokémon being usable and not total trash filler and I think they did a ''ok'' job about that this gen.

As for legendaries goes, I agree with you on the mythical creature part, I approach them the same way. I see them as unique mythical creatures that I had the miracle experience to meet. So as you can see I like to play my game with a RP state of mind when I play pokémon. But it's hard to see these pokémons as legendary miracles when you have enough to fill two party. Also their is so many that now few have a good back story. I had a really hard time to see Shaymin and Keldeo as good legendary beasts lol. I think anywhere between 4 and 6 is the right amount, 10 is rediculus but I guess we will have to agree to disagree, if you'd be happy with 30new legendary per game good for you :P As for the underlined part, I did'nt count Diancy and the other two pokémon discovered by hacking since their are no available. And you must be smoking good stuff to think Zygarde is cool lol. And it's not just his lame look (he look like a fat slow good for nothing obese snake) but it's also his ability that is totaly useless unless your fighting Yveltall and Xerneas (but lore wise I guess his ability makes sense)

That's not true at all. And the second part makes no sense. Kalos is based on France. France has seasons. That's that.

Idk, it was just a hypothesis. But Kalos is based on France's culture, not its geography.

What does voice acting have anything to do with friendship or a "kiddy cartoon?" You can always mute the voice acting. And no, I don't mean voice acting for the Pokemon. I'd hate that. I hate Pikachu's voice in XY.

What I meant is that the game already has a kiddy story about friendship. Now tell me, if they add voice acting do you seriously expect them to add deep serious voice acting with award worthy voice actors? Or do you expect them to hire ppl from kid's show with obnoxious loud voices that appeal to kids? Voice acting would only make the game feel more like a saturday morning cartoon. And what is so bad with reading and using your imagination? It's part of the charm. Not everything needs voice acting, that's also good for those who wants to add voice acting to Zelda.
