After that Rotom strip, a Mewtwo and Greninja one, and today an Animal Crossing one http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=335 (as the one before Rotom's one was http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=333 ). He obviously plays a lot of Ninty games, and Pokémon ones are amongst those on top of his list.
