An insignificant graphics boost of a game released less than a year ago.  Wow!  I'm so excited!

So six months in the Playstation 4's life, I can play three retail exclusives that I can't play on the PS3, or, I can play a plethora of games that I can already play on my PS3 with nothing more than a marginal graphics boost.

OK, but who is forcing you to care about this?  Ignore it if you're not excited.

For some people an enhanced version of a PS3 game is better than no game, especially if they haven't played it on the PS3.

So six months in the Playstation 4's life, I can play three retail exclusives, or I can play a plethroa of games that I can already play on my PS3 with nothing more than a graphics boost.

Despite repeating what I last said, the answer to your question is within that same statement.  Think hard.  And actually, you really don't need to think that hard as it's clear as day.  I'll help you out a bit.  I want some new fucking games, not games that I could already play.  I'm a Sony fan, but I'm not one of those who will blindly follow whatever Sony does regardless what they do.  I'm sure there are more people than me who are irritated that the next gen is here and they can't play shit but last generation games.

Sony's just lucky that the PS4 is selling well, because the support Microsoft and Nintendo have been giving their consoles during the same time period far outweighs the shitty support Sony has been giving the PS4.  Sony even supported the Vita more than this and look how many exclusives that system has.  Less than 25 retail exclusives in over two years.

Your same question would also qualify why I'm pissed off that the Vita has nothing but ports.  I'm not required to buy them.  Yeah, I'm not, but I want some fucking games to play on the system I paid $250 for and I'm not interested in playing games that I've played on another console.  Here's a quote from Sony in September 2012, months after the Vita launched.

Sony’s marketing VP for handhelds and consoles, John Koller, said titles released on Vita need to be “unique and define the Vita experience,” and Sony is taking steps to ensure the mistakes made with PSP aren’t repeated.  “The issue that happened with PSP is we got overrun with ports,” he said. “It became very difficult for us to define what made PSP unique. The content development became a bit unstructured or decentralized, in that we got a lot of content that was on PlayStation 2 and got thrown over to the handheld..

Remember, this is almost two years ago that this was stated and you know what?  The quote is bs.  The amount of ports Sony themselves pushed to have on the Vita is ridiculous and looks as if they're doing the same thing with the PS4.  And if you read what he says, if there's nothing but ports then it really gives the console no identity of its own as we could play these games elsewhere.

The PS4 is selling well so it's going to get the support of third parties, so this is eventually going to turn around and it's going to get games.  Until that happens I'm going to voice my opinion about how shitty of a job Sony is doing.  The higher ups at Sony who are fucking up all over the place need to get fired in my opinion.

There's no need for that tone.

Yes your answer was included in that same statement, but I think it's misplacing the blame for (supposed) lack of titles.  It would make sense if these ports were somehow responsible for having a real negative impact on the short term schedules of games you'd want to play.  Given that Quantic Dream took about 4 years to release Heavy Rain on PS3, then another 3 for B2S, it's unrealistic to expect a new game from them this year.  A port of B2S is about the best thing we would get out of QD this year.

Again, for someone who hasn't had a PS3 or didn't get these games it can only be a plus.  For someone who is looking for something else, you are misplacing your rage here.

PS.  IMO Sony has put a lot of it's resources in recent years on PS3 while Nintendo and MS support for 7th gen sucked.  You would think MS & Nintendo had been preparing great 8th gen games for a lot longer than Sony, but no it doesn't really show.  Don't tell me Nintendo has done well for it's gamers, they have been slow to release games and doomed the system to irrelevancy.

Vita is too much of a flop to compare too.  US & Europe (which make up the bulk of World Wide Studios) have basically given up on Vita, hence few games.  That's not going to happen for PS4, as PS4 is selling well.  Basically all 3rd party devs support it and put their best work on PS4, and WWS will also focus on PS4 rather than Vita.
