There's always coin battle. And one can say the same thing for games like Left 4 Dead (if you play as a human) And there's that crown and score element in 3D world.

But Im shit at L4D and so I need all the help I can get =P

BTW my post is a joke, I always play Mario with my family. I wouldnt play online though, its the couch co-op that I feel makes the games so much fun.
