Oh and how could I have left out a Golf game? That's the true merit of any console's success. Sorry, the games a developer puts on a console to show its support are the games that developer is putting the bulk of their money and top teir development teams behind. Everything that has been given to the Wii by Capcom thus far has been either outsourced to different companies or handled by the lower tier development teams at a bargain bin budget. The true merit of a developer's support is where they are putting their money, where are they putting their effort, where are they putting their big name flagship games... And that's not what Capcom is doing to the Wii. Sure Capcom is putting more games on the Wii, because they're all ports or low budget projects. So RE5 and DMC4 started development before the Wii? Well what has Capcom announced for the Wii on their level that will be comming out for it in the future?
You want Capcom to keep making games like this? Well their are plenty of last-gen games that could be ported to the Wii, so I suppose your wish could very well come true. I feel I've made my point and you're certainly inclined to dissagree, but there's no point in taking this thread down the gutter anymore in my rants especially when its somewhat off-topic. |
It doesn't matter how you feel about monster hunter, it's a huge game that was a PS3 exclusive before. It is a high budget game being handled by some of their best developers at capcom, isn't that exactly what you are talking about? You don't like it? fine, but don't think that it is some kind of low tier or budget game, it is far from that.
