Its some tricks I learnt over the years loll, With Photoshop that is!
Gifs are made out of 256 colors and the gifs that turn out the best are the ones with:
1) Least amount of shading
2) The ones with solid colors
3) The ones with bright colors
4) Finding a balance between how many colors to use vs resolution (Cause photoshop allows you to choose how many and which colors you want but it does do a good job of determining the best colors by itself. Cause remember, more colors and/or high resolution = more space)
5) Keep it under 60 frames in total for 1.5mb
And the other thing I do is called Frame Delay. What most videos and gifs do is have multiple frames of the samething to pad out the animation so it doesn't go by freakishly fast but when you add frames to a gif, it = more space! But using frame delay on the other hand basically accomplishes the same thing without taking up any space. So I basically delete the duplicate frames (which there are usually a lot of) and just add in frame delay to have the exact same effect!
Anyway, hopefully that explained it loll. I do a few more things but thats the main jist of it. Oh and thanks for the compliment! I can make a whole thread on how to make the best gifs but it will probably be too boring for people
