Indeed, but the point is PS4 will continue to languish in the low teens while there are no games charting inthe top ten. It could well drop to Wii U levels at somepoint.

your comment make me believe you find this fact is something unexpected it's been 8 weeks that ps4 is released in Japan i and those games are cross-generation t's normal that they not on the chart anymore and after launch there was only 2 new release Natural Doctrine and a demo of mgs it's normal that they dissapear rapidly.

Depends what you mean by unexpected. With the software library as it stand the PS4 number, if anything, is unexpectedly high. But that it is in the low teens is probably what should be expected in a country where the home console market is probably shrinking moreso than any other major market.

Other than that my comment was merely an observation of what's likely to be a future reality without regular releases of games that appeal to the japanese gamer. What will be itneresting to see is if these games do come, whether PS4 can lift baseline sales long term, or if they stay historically low, for what we assume will be the number one console in Japan for gen 8. Though that crown could go to Wii U.
