Well, if you look at the Titanfall sales numbers, and compare them to this NPD's X1 sales, one can conclude that the great majority of people who wanted Titanfall bought the console at launch or during previous months. And when March rolled in, all MS could do was use their giveaways and pricecuts to reel in stragglers and on-the-fencers. There were some, but not enough to cause a significant spike in numbers.
Unless some tectonic changes occur (killing Kinect and seriously undercutting PS4 price), MS might see a severe drop in their user base, probably even hurting Halo's status as a system seller, pulling off another Titanfall - selling mostly to established users and moving relatively few new consoles.
