i keep hearing people say this and it makes me laugh of bit. It sounds like its almost apologetic for Ninty to not snag up exclusivity when it could. If Ninty was going to do a NFC+Pokemon game they would have one out by now. We are three Skylanders games deep and Disney already brought there version out. you really think Ninty wouldnt have jumped on seeing how popular they got. If they ARE waiting then they are stupid.

Nintendo confirmed at their last investor meeting that they had a NFC game in development and I believe they even said it would appear at E3. The two most likely candidates are Pokemon or Nintendo mascot games.

better late than never I suppose. I hate to be overly negative but one has to wonder if they are a bit late. It seems that the whole craze has diminished, especially since Disney threw there hat in the fray

While its not likely to kill off Skylanders/Disney Infinity, it can definitely co-exist with them and maybe can solidify Wii U as the NFC console for 8th gen. The most recent Skylanders sold about 3 million on 7th gen consoles and about 500k on 8th gen consoles, the same goes for Disney Infinity which saw close to 3 million on 7th gen while only 300k on Wii U and isnt out on PS4/One yet. So if Nintendo's NFC game is a success than it is possible the Skylanders/Disney crowd on 7th gen consoles will move onto Wii U instead of PS4/One.
