Ok many people have their theories as to why the Wii U hasnt taken off, a couple of examples are lack of 3rd party and Nintendo struggling to get games out quickly enough. But has support, both 1st and 3rd party really been that bad so far?
1st party
So far we have had a 2D Mario and a brilliant 2D spin off wirh Luigi U
SM3DW is up there with the great Mario games
DKTF is as good as previous games in the series with added polish.
A long overdue Pikmin game
A high quality remake of one of the best Zelda games.
Mini game compilations for casuals in Wii party U, Nintendo land , Game and Wario and Wii Fit U

Even discounting the great line up 2014 has yet to offer, i think Wii U has been well supported thus far with more than enough gaming content. There seems to be something for everyone, i for one have been very happy with whats been on offer for Wii U.
