A topic that only concerns each one of the debaters separately is not a valid debate topic. It's a debate without counter arguments, no chance to attack the opposition. Every point brought by each of the debaters will be irrefutable because each argument will only account to the person's preference.

The only thing this will be is 2 lists of product features with arbitrary points that each debater will put a different weight on.

Also, who will decide which one made the "better" points?

Every debate starts with to peoples preferences otherwise there wouldn't be a debate. I disagree on the counter arguments, there are many sub issues to explore, many reasons to prefer one consoles over the other and many opinions to lock horns with. I wanted to start with a big issue everybody is talking about to see if this concept would actually work and if there is interest, then with later debates on different issues start choosing deeper subjects.

Also the winner would be decided by poll which will be opened once the debate is over.

Vivster I understand why you think this is a bad subject to start off with but I think it's a great place to start. If this takes off we can explore deeper and more interesting topics but this subject is a test if this could work. If a big subject like this doesn't take off then it's doomed to fail anyway.
