I don't know about bad person but you are a stupid person. Ringing up Nintendo? Why? Just send it back to Amazon for a replacement copy! You have a 28-day guarantee with the retailer that the product is working. It's the retailer's responsibility to replace it.
You wasted your time and money because you don't know how shops work.
