I have only used the wiimote+nunchuck. It is ok, but far from good. I plan on getting a GC controller sometime. Not sure how I will like it though, because I never played melee. So far I'd say wiimote+nunchuck is inferior to the N64 controller (only other controller I have played a smash bros. game with.).
