The Fable series are generally great. They are not revolutionary, nor mindblowing nor groundbreaking, but they are charming and enjoyable. That's my personal take on them, though. Fable 3 was meh, that I agree. Never liked Kingdom Hearts, personally. Though Ps3 got FF X HD, and that's awesome. A shame it is not coming to 360 :( As I told him, my comment was not trying to convince him of anything. The games are still there. 360 has got, at least, one exclusive per year. While not amazing like in 2013 whereas Ps3 got like seven or eight, 360 still got three if I am not mistaken. The thing is, 360 dried up because of PC, not for the lack of exclusives. Almost every single worthwile title of 360 end up eventually on PC, making the console lose value in the process. Certainly, it also got some ports that no other console got, like The Witcher 2, but for that trade, Ninja Blade, Alan Wake, Mass Effect, even Fable 3, among others, ended up on PC. It is nine years into the console lifespawn and it is still getting exclusives. I can't complain. I can understand people that loathe the console or point out their lack on the exclusive department. But all I'm saying is multiplatform gamer always trumps single-console gamer. |
I definitely think KH is a franchise that some people don't get, but others really do. FFX is probably my favourite game ever, which makes this year's PS3 exclusives even better (though I'm playing it mostly on Vita) {and don't maybe forget Persona 5}
360's exclusive numbers have been much much much lower in the past few years, the only game I really bought is Gears Judgement. I was kind of forced into buying some Halo games, but I'm not counting them. I bought about 1 or 2 exclusives in the last few years that really excited me. Considering I have 130+ PS3 games and 45ish 360 games, that is not a big enough number for me.
It's hard to suggest that having more choice of games to play is a bad thing, but I feel that with so many multiplatform games between PS4 and XB1, there is little reason to own both, since you probably won't have time to play them all
