If they just released the PS3 version on PS4 as-is, people WOULD complain. The game didn't look 'great' even at the time of its release due to the hardware it was running on. And I'm not saying it looked bad either because I think it looked really good, just outdated after seeing so much better footage due to PC and PS4. On PS4, it would look a bit out of place if nothing was done to it.
