Why does Mario Kart 8 look so much better than SSB for Wii U? Disappointed.

Some of what this shows is the schizophrenic nature of the Smash U shots: these images do look GREAT, well ahead of Brawl and fitting for Wii U's capabilities, others look pretty poor. It's odd. Could just be a work-in-progress thing.
