Controllers do much more than they used to... They used to be:

- buttons
- plastic
- wire

Now they're:

- buttons
- joysticks
- rumble motors
- accelerometers (on the Wii and PS3)
- infrared camera (on the Wii)
- speaker (on the Wii)
- plastic
- wireless chips for communication

 

What about blue tooth?
