I think it def has the potential to, with Mario Kart in Spring, Smash Bros possibly in Summer and the NFC game for the holidays along with a $250 Mario Kart bundle and $199 holiday deals, I could see this being a relatively decent year for Wii U.

On the other hand Vita has really nothing of note outside of Japan this year that I know of. So I believe Wii U has a shot of passing Vita later this year or next year but depending on each devices longevity, Vita could retake the lead.
