| BMaker11 said: only beef I have with that article is that it says: "LittleBigPlanet, obviously as a new property, is completely untested and it is hard to tell whether it will reach the PS3's current demographic, as it seems more in tune to Nintendo's" Just because it has "cute little plush men" doesn't automatically make it a Nintendo-like game. LBP is about creativity and online community....both things the Wii doesn't have. Creativity: Wii targets kids, old people, parent, etc.....they wouldn't put the time or effort into making intricate levels. Online Community: Friend codes? enough said |
Nice generalization of an entire userbase, especially since it's the largest and most diverse userbase of any of the consoles. Kids and old people aren't creative? I was a creative kid and I'll hopefully be even more creative when I'm old.
Online community: I've played Brawl with a buttload of Chartz members. I'm making gaming buddies through my Wii. If that's not an online community, I don't know what is. It might be less efficient than your console of choice, but your "enough said" won't cut it here.
