Yes! Obligatory off-TV play, gyro controls, displays player's positioning and items, has a map of the entire track, but most importantly, it has the almighty horn of trololol!
Not saying the game will make the gamepad a must have item, just that it does in fact use the gamepad. Now why they didn't use it for the most obvious feature, being 5 player local multiplayer, I'll never know!
