There is no evidence that the MS demo is doing meterial stress simulation, hell you can see that only the facade blows apart even when he blasts it the floors stay intact. I mean the MS demo doesn't even appear to have shadows. It's not impressive at all compared to GPU physics demos that have been around for years.
