Knuckles' design not withstanding, sure, I'd give it a chance. Thing is, Sega has proven over the last many years that they simply do not seem to be capable of making truly great games themselves anymore. Sometimes they even seem to struggle with just making GOOD games. So a new development studio, made up of former people who worked on stuff like Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter, working on a new Sonic Platformer? Sure. It's GOT to be at least decent, you'd think.
