Reviews are so off the mark for it. It's a very fun little game. Not perfect, but the reviews were just damning for the sake of clicks and jumping on the "Sonic doomed" nonsense.

I don't know anyone who actually owns it who doesn't like it. Solid 7-8/10 from me. Just let down by some cheap level design in some places. First 4 worlds are utter bliss though and the visuals are vibrant and really pop. Also has a great soundtrack. Not quite up to 3D World's standard, but very good none the less.
