Mario Kart was just a bonus that I enjoy for a month or two, maybe more if friends stop by. But really, the last time that a Mario Kart game was a console defining game for me was Mario Kart 64. But man, Mario Kart 8 has really caught my attention lately, as the sheer amount of quality it's showing is quite astonishing. It just looks like what I imagined Mario Kart could look like when I first started playing the series back in 1997. 8 is a culmination of the best of 14 years of Mario Karting goodness, and I can't wait to give it a go. ^_^ |
