It's the 64 version. The music is godly, but only one lap is truly a dissapointment to me.

Why exactly? Instead of being abnormally long, it's now a length similar to most other tracks.

Because of that. Being abnormally long is what I liked about that track.

Well hey, they fixed up the track rather nicely, so that should balance things out!
