It's not really clickbait though. It could just be misinterpreted...
However, it sounds like a pretty big problem. As others have said warranty should cover it so there's not too much of a worry. Happened with my 3DS shortly after launch. It's annoying but they tend to be pretty good about these things if it's under warranty
