Because PS4 is the exception to the rule. Generally a more expensive console, like the PS3/360/Wii U, will not hit its real stride until it drops in price.

and xone? thats doing a hell of a lot better than Wii U and thats even MORE expensive. This isnt about hitting strides, whatever that means. Its about how well a console is doing at a specifc time. YOu keep saying th price is hurting it, but how come its not hurting the other two? Its a simple question answer it. and keep in mind Even PS360 were doing alot better and they were not cheap
