EA Goes Too Far With Harsh Wii-U Bashing April Fools Joke, Then Deletes It

The only joke here is claiming that that's some "harsh Wii U bashing" and "spiteful" tweets. Or is it some kind of meta joke and those tweets didn't actually happen, and that's the joke?
I expected something along the lines of "Wii U is selling so miserably that we decided to support it out of pitty. Buy our games few Nintendo fans!", those were more making fun of themselves and the situation of no Wii U support.
