No Id prefer to have the game. I dont want a rental service.

Until you get a "rental service" from games with gold and then you'll praise it to no end. Hand Down PSN+ > Games with gold. There's no question. Maybe you should try it before you knock it. Plus it's not like you'd ever stop  subscribing anyway.

That's exactly what i thought when i read his comment :p Considering the unlikeliness of him cancelling his Gold sub, you'd think he'd prefer to be given newer or more popular titles than stuff the competing service was giving out almost a year ago.

I'm sure GWG with improve over time, but currently it's barley even worth comparing to PS+. It doesn't supply even a fraction of the value. The US PS+ is currently providing Uncharted 3, Tomb Raider, Payday 2, Bioshock: Infinite, Remember Me, XCOM, LBP Karting, Borderlands 2 and a couple of other titles just for signing up :/ That's before you even considering the monthly games and deals you get. It's no wonder everyone loves PS+.

It's just rhetoric because he believes XB > PS. So you can just toss logic out the window, because no matter what, PS is inferior (seriously....what other reasoning would have you pass up UC3, Tomb Raider, Arkham City, Bioshock: Infinite, Metro: Last Light, SotC HD, DmC, PayDay 2, XCOM, LBP Karting, Borderlands 2, and more so you can say GwG is a "better deal" because you get to "own".....Sid Meier's Civ Rev?).

PS+ could starting giving out free games for you to "keep" tomorrow, and he'd probably say "I still like Game with Gold better, because that's been their business model since Day 1. Sony is only doing it to bring in more subscribers. Once they get what they want, they'll stop doing it. Game with Gold will keep the way it is forever"

Continuing with my Netflix comparison from prior, why do you guys have no problem "renting" movies (depending on the movie, it's a piece of entertainment you enjoy once for 2 hours) for $100 a year, but are so taken aback at the idea of "renting" 60+ video games (things with high investment time and high replay value) for $50 a year? If it's only because "I just don't like Playstation" (which is what this all probably boils down too. No way you say GwG is better than PS+ because you get to keep Gears of War 1; an 8 year old game, otherwise).....that's a dumb reason to not at least acknowledge how good a service is.
