One of the biggest factors in what makes people want a console is its software.

Sunshine is part of the reason GCN didn't sell too hot, just as 3D World is part of the reason Wii U isn't selling so hot.

Once again using logic that goes against your belief of MK8 n SSB4 selling Wii U's, as both MK and SSB among many other of nintendo franchises have also seen iterations released on past consoles, yet those consoles still failed to outsell their predecessors. So once again, tell me why Kart n Smash are all of a sudden gonne sell enough consoles now to break the trend when they never ever have before.
