If the first points are true, that does not bode well for Nintendo either, a lot less so than in PS2's case.
N'Gai is an avid 360 fan and his articles reflect that. He is not a fanboy, however, and usually makes fine points, including these.
I think Sony will have to depend a lot on 2nd and 1st party titles much like Nintendo for the time being, but with the abyssmal 360 sales ww in the consoles 3rd year dev's are bound to step back from it at some point.
And where were all these X-box games? Two of my friends and one of my cousins had an x-box and all they did was complain about the lack of games for it!
All in all, Sony is probably in no more trouble than its competition, without excluding the possibilities of problems altogether.
@Rugger08; How are Sony being cock assholes? Arrogance is markedly present with all three companies at present, and Sony have no more skeletons in the closet than the other two imo. Is it not being assholes making a highly defective product? And with the statements from the Wiiware dev's and Reggie's highly cavalier attitude Nintendo also have the streak of rudeness.
The biggest mistakes Sony made were; price, simply much too high, should've launched at the price they are now. And; confidence, they trusted brand loyalty to shoot sales upwards and propel them straight into a solid lead as with the PS2.
Other than that, I can't say I've seen them act any worse than the others, in fact; some of the execs (Harrison and co) have even praised the competition in some instances.
