It does kinda surprise me that certain games on Wii U aren't doing better.

Like Wonderful 101 ... I mean on the one hand people complain there's not enough games, but with a userbase of about 5.5 million people ... shouldn't there be more than 200-300k interested in a good game like that? Pikmin 3 also largely ignored by the Wii U audience.

Even on the GameCube things like Viewtiful Joe sold OK. 

It's almost like Nintendo has alienated virtually all the broader software buying audience to the point where all they're left with console wise are the core Nintendo fanatics who only care about Mario/Mario Kart/Zelda/Smash Bros. and will just buy the system and sit around and wait for those franchises to come out while trying nothing else.
