No Id prefer to have the game. I dont want a rental service.

lets face it, effectively every online game on PS4 and X1 is a rental including titanfall. stop paying your rent (subscription), and the game is useless.

Yes there are a lot of good offline games, but if games with gold gives you an online orientated game, you are going to have to pay to play it online anyway.

Ideally I'd also like for us to be allowed to keep good games without them being tied to whether or not you are subscribed, but realistically thats never gonna happen. The only games its happening with are the ones which are dirt cheap to begin with, or so old that people will have much better stuff to play instead.

No games for gold isnt like that. When you download the game its yours to keep regardless if you keep your Gold Subscription.

What he's saying is that you're gonna need XBL anyway to play many games (since many games have an online focus). You could unsub from XBL...but what benefit of "keeping" a game like Titanfall have since you wouldn't be able to play it without Gold? A perceived better deal because you "own" the game....even though you can't play it?
