If you really think a 3DS game in HD was what NIntendo fans wanted from a Wii U 3D Mario, then the reason Wii U is struggling is because Nintendo's execs think the same way you do.

3D World's sales speak for themselves.

If they could speak, they'd be saying "damn you Wii U!" Even if Nintendo had released Mario Galaxy 3 or Mario 64-2 instead, things would be no different, except maybe there'd have been a little less whineing at the E3 reveal.
