The Captain Toad levels were pretty good and they reminded me of how much fun I had with a German PC game called
"New Beetle Tracks and Gaps".
It was a game released by Volkswagen (1997) to promote the new model of the Beetle and had gameplay based of an
older game called "Stone Age".
The gameplay is kind of like Captain Toad in that you have to get yourself to the end of a map in a limited amount of time
and there's a certain strategy and obstacles to avoid.
Overall, New Beetle Tracks and Gaps is a good 2D game that I recommend if you liked the strategy of the Captain Toad game.
