"[insiderp]" in the thread title is enough warning to people that the information is unsubstantiated and speculative. I'm happy for mods to make that modification to thread titles and I don;t think bans or threadlocks are necessary.
Having said that. I think insiderp is more than likely close to correct re PS4 shipments. I would not be surprised for Sony's March Q report to indicate >7 million PS4s shipped. PS4 will be ~6.8 million sold according to VGC by 31 March. So insiderp won't be far wrong on that.
If we consider "extended launch week" then insiderp numbers might not be far off in terms of ISS sales and PAL hardware sales. According to VGC PAL sales for WE 22 March are >90K, so it could be close-ish to 90K again for WE 30 March; particularly if most of the PS4 boost for WE22 March was because of a supply injection and not because of ISS.
