3DS is cannibalizing Wii U

Obviously if there were no 3DS version both the Wii U version and  Wii U hardware would benefit.

Both the wii u game and hardware, 3ds game and hardware will benefit greatly.

The point is more that the 3ds doesn't need the help as much as the wii u does, and I would have to agree.  If the Wii u were the only place you could get smash bros in this cycle of consoles (or at least for a good year or so before putting it on the 3ds) then it would help bolster the Wii u.  So in this regard I suppose I would agree with curl, though overall I still don't think cannibalization is the Wii u's biggest problem.
