Nope, 2015 is the year of QoL, it was announced in an investor meeting. April 2015 is the launch of the QoL platform.
That said, 2014 means nothing to Yoshi, so it won't be his official year. I bet they would have if it did mean something to him, but it doesn't. 2020 will be the Year of Yoshi most likely as that would be his 30th, but it could be 2015 for his 25th, and I feel like that's when Yarn Yoshi will be released. 2016 will be the Year of Metroid. It's Samus's 30th and that would give them time to make a game for the 3DS and Wii U, and maybe some themed DLC for other games or something. They could also release Metroid Prime for the VC and finally get Gamecube games on the VC. Kirby could be 2017 for his 25th or 2022 for his 30th. We'll probably see something in 2017 for him at the very least. I'd love to see a year of Earthbound in 2019 personally. Release all three games on the virtual console and announce a new one in the series. Also for 2018, that's Star Fox's anniversary. You better do something for that Nintendo.
