In the past few days, four Democratic lawmakers have been arrested or raided by the FBI. California State Senator Leland Yee (D), an outgoing gun control advocate, was arrested for conspiring to traffic in illegal guns in exchange for campaign donations. The probe began when the feds went after Raymond “Shrimp Boy” Chow, a reputed gangster who ran a Chinese criminal organization. Meantime, Charlotte Mayor Patrick Cannon (D) resigned after his arrest on corruption charges. He is accused of accepting more than $48K in cash, airline tickets, hotel rooms and an apartment from undercover FBI agents."
One of the reasons I am for owning guns is that the government has been abusing its powers and stepping out of the constitution more and more every year. it also doesn't help that the same politicians who want to take our guns, also want to keep their own guns, and create a black market on which to make money. Guns are needed more today than in the past due to the overwhelming threat our goverment is to us should they continue on a path that disregards the constittion and basically enables mob rule whcih is the path we have been heading. I dont want a gun because I fear my neighbor, or criminals, I want a gun so the government fears me.
