I've been working through classic mode with every character recently. One of the things I've noticed is when they have you team up with a CP to fight another team of CPs it's generally the same group characters that have some relation to one another.
Fox, Falco, and Wolf are one group.
Bowser, Peach, Mario and I think sometimes Luigi are another.
Meta Knight, Kirby, and Dedede.
And of course there's also all the Pokemon.
But the one that just doesn't make any sense to me at all is the Donkey and Diddy Kong versus you and Yoshi. I for the life of me can't figure out how those three go together at all. Is there some relation between those three that I don't know about, or am I just over thinking things?
