How different would the US market be if they had to pay these prices?

This is why I plan to get my DS Lite from the US. A special edition Zelda-DS Lite including Zelda PH is less expensive on Amazon.com(+/- 140 euros(+/- $250)) than a normal DS Lite here(150 euros).
But it's the difference is even bigger if I take a normal DS Lite, which is almost twice as cheap in the States than in Europe!
