Regardless, I suspect that Animal Crossing is the big game they were referring to. Looking at the sales of the DS version, you can surely understand why; just over 9 million copies sold worldwide is nothing to scoff at. That's certainly more than Pikmin games have sold, more than F-Zero or Pilotwings games have sold, and far more than Kid Icarus ever sold.
