It's not the system that makes Sony bankrupt.
Currently, Sony is on a dilemma. The mark-up price is too short despite having 5.8 Million sales. However, if they mark-up price is too high, Microsoft Xbox One would lead today. If Microsoft's mark-up of Xbox One is too short for them, that'll be alright. Microsoft is a rich company and they can handle that.
If Sony makes their price same as Xbox One, it is still Sony's loss but it's definitely not because of the system.
