I really don't think we'll see a new gaming hardware from Nintendo until 2016 at the earliest. 2017 is probably more likely.
Nintendo will launch their QOL next year, and I don't think they're capable of launching two new products the same year; there's quite a bit of cost involved when launching a new product.
If the next console is a hybrid, I think 2017 is a good year to launch - unless the 3DS really bombs this and the next year.
